Here are a few of our favourite routes in Snowdonia
But let us know what you're after and we'll tailor something just for you
⛰ Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
The UK’s busiest mountain — but we take a quieter path to the top. Think peaceful forests, crystal-clear streams with wild swimming spots, and wide-open views. This is a tough but rewarding day out, with one of the best ridge walks (without needing to scramble) in all of Eryri.
Time: Full Day
Difficulty:

⛰ Llyn Idwal, Devil’s Kitchen & Y Garn Loop
Simply stunning.
Start with a scenic lake exploring the unique glacial landscape and learn about the history, geology, fauna and mythology surrounding it. Then climb through the dramatic cleft of Devil’s Kitchen. It’s hands-on in places but not a scramble — just enough to keep things exciting. From the summit of Y Garn, you’ll have one of the best views in Wales.
Extend the day with Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr for even more epic ridges and views over the Snowdon range
Time: Half Day (or full day with the extension)
Difficulty:

⛰ Mountains & Mines
Venture off the beaten track to explore the slate landscapes of North Wales. This route weaves together mountain views, deep-blue lakes, and the haunting remnants of industrial heritage — a quieter but equally powerful way to connect with Eryri.
Time: Half Day or Full Day (tailored to your pace)
Difficulty:

⛰ The Carneddau Four Summits
A quieter corner of Eryri that’s big on space and solitude. This high-level hike links four of the main Carneddau peaks, including three of the Welsh 3000s. Expect breathtaking views across Eryri without the crowds, iconic mountain scenery, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. It’s a big, challenging, and rewarding day out—crossing remote ridgelines, with wild ponies, wide skies, and a real sense of stillness. There are a few short sections that require hands-on scrambling, but nothing too technical.
Time: Allow a Full Day, 8+ Hours

These are just a few of our favourites — but every adventure can be shaped to suit you. Whether you want to hike, swim, camp, or end the day with a warm meal at a local pub, we’ll design something just right for your experience and energy.
Example Days Out
Every walk is tailored to you — your goals, your pace, your curiosity.
We offer both circular and linear routes, ranging from 9 to 26 miles. Each day begins with a short welcome, a safety briefing, and a chat about the route ahead.
Out on the trail, we typically walk 3 to 4 miles between breaks, pausing to take in points of interest, watch wildlife, or simply enjoy the view. There are regular stops to refuel, rest, and soak up the experience — because it’s not just about distance, it’s about connection.
A note on timings and difficult ratings.
Timings are estimates but can vary based on the pace of the group and the curiosity of the group to explore the landscape around them.
Difficulty levels are our subjective rating based on distance and the amount of up and downhill. Please contact us if in doubt and you have any questions.
