Peak District Adventures
High moorland, gritstone edges, deep valleys and history beneath your feet. The Peak District is wild in a quiet way — full of surprises, solitude, and stories. A great spot for day walks, long loops, and weekends with both comfort and challenge.
Edale Valley Base
The heart of the High Peaks.
Edale is a perfect base for exploring Kinder Scout, Mam Tor, and the dramatic edges above the Derwent reservoirs. Castles, caves, and ancient trails all lie within reach — and the village itself has welcoming pubs, cafés, and places to stay.
Kinder Scout & the Peat Plateau
A wild landscape with a radical past.
Site of the 1932 mass trespass, Kinder Scout helped pave the way for National Parks and public access. Today, it’s a dramatic upland National Nature Reserve — a landscape of open moor, gnarled gritstone, and streams tumbling into hidden cloughs. It’s rich in wildlife and always a little wild.
⛰ Jacobs Ladder, Kinder Downfall & Summit Loop
A classic Peak District circuit.
We leave from Edale village, cross rolling farmland and woodland to the base of the plateau, and climb steadily up Jacobs Ladder. From the edge, we follow the moor to Kinder Downfall — the Peak’s iconic waterfall — before heading deeper into the open uplands and returning to the valley floor. Finish with a brew or pint in Edale.

⛰ The Edale Skyline
A big day in the hills.
A full loop of the Edale valley — this is a proper challenge. 20 miles and over 1200m of climbing, taking in Mam Tor, Rushup Edge, Win Hill, and the Kinder Plateau. Long ridges, quiet moors, and sweeping views the whole way.

Example Days Out
Every walk is tailored to you — your goals, your pace, your curiosity.
We offer both circular and linear routes, ranging from 9 to 26 miles. Each day begins with a short welcome, a safety briefing, and a chat about the route ahead.
Out on the trail, we typically walk 3 to 4 miles between breaks, pausing to take in points of interest, watch wildlife, or simply enjoy the view. There are regular stops to refuel, rest, and soak up the experience — because it’s not just about distance, it’s about connection.
A note on timings and difficult ratings.
Timings are estimates but can vary based on the pace of the group and the curiosity of the group to explore the landscape around them.
Difficulty levels are our subjective rating based on distance and the amount of up and downhill. Please contact us if in doubt and you have any questions.
